Who I am
This website is operated by Juliette Reese-Kari, a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered dietitian (registration number DT29509), trading as Juliette Reese-Kari Paediatric Dietitian.

What data I collect
I may collect and process the following personal data:
- Booking data: When you book a consultation via Cal.com, your name, email address, and any information you provide in the pre-consultation form is collected and processed by Cal.com on my behalf.
- Health data: During consultations, I collect health information about your child including dietary intake, medical history, growth data, and clinical notes. This is special category data under UK GDPR Article 9 and is processed on the basis of your explicit consent and for the provision of healthcare.
- Website analytics: If you consent to cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type). Vercel Analytics collects anonymised performance data. No personally identifiable information is collected by analytics without your consent.
- Contact data: If you email me, your email address and message content are stored in my email system.
Lawful basis for processing
I process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Consent: For cookies and analytics, and for the processing of health data during consultations.
- Contract: For processing booking and payment data necessary to provide the consultation service you have requested.
- Legitimate interest: For responding to enquiries and maintaining the security of this website.
- Legal obligation: For maintaining clinical records as required by HCPC standards.
Third-party processors
Your data may be shared with the following third-party services:
- Cal.com— appointment booking and scheduling.
- Google Analytics— anonymised website usage data (only with your cookie consent).
- Vercel— website hosting and anonymised performance analytics.
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
This website uses cookies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only set with your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or adjusting your preferences.
Data retention
- Clinical records: Retained for 8 years from the date of last contact, or until the child reaches age 25 (whichever is longer), in line with NHS and BDA record-keeping guidance.
- Booking data: Retained for the duration of the clinical relationship plus the retention period above.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and is anonymised.
- Email correspondence: Retained for the duration of the clinical relationship plus the retention period above.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing)
