Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

About these terms

These terms govern the provision of private dietetic consultation services by Juliette Reese-Kari (HCPC registration DT29509), trading as Juliette Reese-Kari Paediatric Dietitian. By booking a consultation, you agree to these terms.

Scope of service

I provide paediatric dietetic assessment, advice, and nutrition management for infants, children, and adolescents. My services are within the scope of practice of a registered dietitian as defined by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Consultations do not replace medical advice from your GP, paediatrician, or other medical professionals. I may recommend that you consult your GP or other healthcare professional where appropriate. You should always seek medical advice for urgent or emergency health concerns.

Booking and payment

  • Initial consultation: £90 (60 minutes)
  • Follow-up consultation: £60 (30 minutes)

All fees are VAT-exempt as registered healthcare services. Payment is due at the time of booking. I provide receipts with my HCPC registration details which you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement.

Cancellation and rescheduling

  • You may reschedule your appointment via the booking confirmation email up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no charge.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at 50% of the consultation fee.
  • Non-attendance without notice is charged at the full consultation fee.
  • If I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will offer you an alternative time or a full refund.

Consultations

All consultations are conducted online via video call. You will receive a link by email after booking. A written plan and notes are provided after every consultation.

I hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance for private dietetic practice.

Clinical records

I maintain clinical records in accordance with HCPC standards and BDA guidance. Records are retained for 8 years from the date of last contact, or until the child reaches age 25 (whichever is longer). See my Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

Professional registration

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), registration number DT29509. You can verify my registration on the HCPC online register.

I am a full member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA). Membership of the BDA does not constitute endorsement of my services by the BDA.

Limitation of liability

While I provide evidence-based dietetic advice to the best of my professional knowledge and skill, I cannot guarantee specific health outcomes. Individual results depend on many factors. My advice does not replace medical treatment or diagnosis by a qualified medical practitioner.

Complaints procedure

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of my service, I encourage you to raise it with me directly in the first instance:

Email: hello@julietterk.com

I aim to acknowledge all complaints within 5 working days and to provide a full response within 20 working days.
